Here's one for the hive mind: I need to print out all of the frames of a Quicktime movie file (on a Mac), each one on a separate piece of paper. I'm not remembering an obvious way to do this, and my Google-fu is coming up empty. Any ideas?

Please help me print my images in the correct size on my Mac. I bought a sheet of 1" circle digital images and downloaded them onto my Mac. I opened them in Preview and want to print them but they print out huge instead of just 1". I can't figure out why! I selected "scaling 100%" in my printer options and that didn't fix the problem. Also when I select View...Actual Size in Preview they look really large.

Need to produce a professional-looking folder for a nonprofit with next to zero money for it. This would be used to make simple donor kits (fact sheets, press clippings inside). Looks like printing a color cover on a standard folder is nearly a buck/per. Anyone have ideas on using bulk blank folders and doing something clever with stickers or something (though it sounds ugly just thinking of it)? Other ways to make a kit?

I'm looking for printing software which will allow me to pinpoint with great precision the location of multiple images on the page (ie, margins, distances between images). I've tried using tables, but they're not completely reliable. I'm using Windows 7. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Can anyone recommend some lightweight photo printing software for WinXP? At work we need something a bit more powerful then the built in windows print wizard, but not much more. Multiple photos per page with metadata (date, time, file name) is really about all we need.

Need help identifying this
Japanese woodblock print of a kabuki actor. I think the artist is Kunichika, and the print is set somewhere on the Tôkaidô Road. At the top of the page is a
large box of Japanese text -- I'm hoping someone can read this, or otherwise identify any hints about the location, actor and character. (Two more translatable things inside)

The bakery/café I work for is looking for a good company to print our menus.
We're looking to print "tall" menus. I'm sorry this is so vague, but I don't know the measurements or name of the type of menu. If I had to guess I'd say ~8" x ~4" — you know, the kind you often see in restaurants/cafés/delis, etc, often with a trifold. We're most likely doing just a double sided piece of paper, though.
We're located in Brooklyn, so we'd be looking for a company somewhere here or in Manhattan.

Hi all,
I am a neuroscience student and I'd like to get my mentor a print of one of Santiago Ramon y Cajal's famous drawings of a neuron as a going away gift. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere that sells prints or photos of these drawings online, but I was able to find a book at my university's library that has larger (12" x 24") high quality images of these drawings.
My question: what is the best way to go from book to print? Are there particular scan qualities or types? Particular types of paper/material to print onto? Places (FedEx, architecture firms) to go to? Any advice would be really helpful.
Thanks!

I have an idea in mind that would be centered around a fake passport-like document taken to specific, fun places around the world. Not something fake enough to break laws, but fake enough to be something fun to carry around, not look cheap, and be durable to carry around and get stamped when requested. Where would I go to get something like this made?
