I'm silkscreening a few posters, and I don't have access to the nice exposure table I usually use, so I'm being forced to print out my designs onto transparency sheets rather than drawing them by hand and oiling the paper.

I have 500+ digital pictures from our wedding/honeymoon. I want to have them printed, and I don't have a photo printer. What are your experiences with the online photo printer places - shutterfly, ofoto, etc.? Would I be better off just buying a photo printer? Mostly I just want basic 4x6 prints to put in a book; a few I want to have blown up.

I have a PDF file that doesn't want to print. The print commands are grayed out in Acrobat Reader. The lock symbol appears indicating that the document is encrypted to prevent modification of "certain aspects". However, I have other documents which appear to have similar encryption that print fine. Is the encryption causing this problem? If not, then what is? How can I work round the problem?

Paper question. I'm looking for 8.5x11 paper that is gloss on one side and matte on the other. I asked kinkos and they said they called it CC1 and got it from xerox but I can't seem to find it. And every product I find at computer or print supplies stores have gloss but the back has a watermark or logo printed on it.
I'm printing up headshots with my acting resume on the back for an upcoming audition and i'm pricing my options.
What is the name of that paper or where can I find it online or otherwise?

Aside from cafepress, does anyone know of a good company that will print my images on decent sized coffee mugs? I've been informed that even the biggest coffee mug at cafe press a) isn't big enough and b) doesn't keep coffee very hot. Looking for alternatives. Ideally, each piece shouldn't cost me more than $10 or $12 each. And I'm looking for short runs ... no more than 2 or 3 at a time. Oh. And a pony.

My fiancee is looking into the possibility of selling clothes with custom art/text/etc. She knows about CafePress and such, but is looking for a way to get text/images on black and dark clothes. Shirts, hoodies, pants, etc.
There's always the 'custom-shirts-for-10-dollars' places, but she doesn't want to sell anything that's going to fade in a month, or is otherwise of questionable quality. Have any of you had good experiences with online companies that provide custom printing services? Would it be a good idea to look into purchasing a silkscreen machine?
