There is probably an easy solution to this, but damned if I can find it.

I have a Macbook with OS X 10.5.8 and Firefox 13.0.1. The printing scale under File -> Page Setup in Firefox has randomly started defaulting to 60%. So every time I restart Firefox, I have to go in there and change it back to 100% before I print anything. I can't figure out how to change it back. Is this a Firefox thing, or a printer thing? Firefox Tiny Printing

Recently when I print with Firefox, it tries to squeeze everything into 1 page. The text is TINY. I have tried "Print 100%", Scale to Fit, Print regular in preferences (HP Laserjet 4200). I have tried to print with different drivers. Nothing I do save "Print 200+%" works, and that's absolutely absurd to have to do each time. Chrome prints things fine, but I really don't want to have to use a different browser each time... Anybody have an idea? Any info I seem to find on the web comes up with old FF2 and FF3 printing issues. Nothing with a more current version on the mozilla forums.

Slow printing of a specific PDF

Stickers on Demand

I am a procrastinator and now I am up against a gift-giving deadline (Saturday!) with no time for shipping. For reasons I won't get into here, its really important that I can include custom stickers (small squarish ones like 2x2 or label size; dimensions are not so important). I thought it would be easy to have them made at Walmart or a drugstore but it looks like those places will only ship them to you, not print them in the store. If I have to, I can buy sticker paper and print them myself but the quality of my home printer is not great. Are there any obvious choices I am overlooking?

Identify Japanese woodblock print of kabuki actor, possibly by Kunichika, possibly set on Tokaido Road

Need help identifying this Japanese woodblock print of a kabuki actor. I think the artist is Kunichika, and the print is set somewhere on the Tôkaidô Road. At the top of the page is a large box of Japanese text -- I'm hoping someone can read this, or otherwise identify any hints about the location, actor and character. Size matters

How can I print 34 lines of text so that it takes up exactly 6.125 inches? Or equivalently, so that each line is .18 inches. I tried different fonts in various word processors but always ended up a little to large or too small. There's probably an obvious way to do this using some easily available software (preferably free) but I can't seem to figure out what it is.

Recommendations for gallery-quality prints from digital file?

I'm interested in printing a few of my wife's digital photographs as a gift to her. I don't know a thing about photography (my wife is the expert), so I'm looking for some advice. Here's some details: I have the original hi-res versions (she uses a Nikon D70, so I think the files are large jpegs). I'm interested in pretty large prints - probably around 24" x 18". I'm not too concerned about cost - my priorities are the highest possible quality, and longevity. Ideally, I'd love to use someone local (Boston, MA). Can anyone recommend a printer? What specifically should I ask for? (Types of printing, types of paper, etc.). Many thanks in advance!
