So we just got a new printer at work. It has a standard USB printer cable. But I somehow need to connect it to our linksys print server which has the old-school 25 pin female printer cable receptacle -- you know, looks like this. Can this be done? And how? Thanks as always...

Computer Peripheral Filter: I am looking for a device (other than a plotter) which I can hook up to a computer which can then generate text that looks hand written. I know you can get handwriting TT fonts , but the documents produced do not really look hand written.
Getting a plotter is a last resort. I'm pretty sure I have heard of a device that will do what I need, but I can't seem to google it. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

NetworkedPrinterFilter. Today while changing some old HP networked printers from static to dynamic IP addresses, I made the mistake up upgrading the firmware. Now they don't work. Anyone know how to roll back the firmware on a JetDirect card? more inside.
