They seem to use the standard annotation mechanism and are visible in Adobe Reader and Apple Preview. But neither application will let me print the annotations inline with the document. I just started working in a small office (there are 3 of us). We have wired internet (I know, I know!), and an HP OfficeJet 5610 All-in-One Printer/Fax/Copier in a tiny closet. We all work different hours and use laptops. There is no dedicated computer that is there and always on. I know from working with a friend that we need a small printer server to plug into the printer and connect to the switch in the closet. One side needs to have a USB plug, the other side needs to accomodate the internet cable. I think I'm talking about option #4 in this Wikipedia article. I need to make a recommendation to my boss for what exactly she needs to buy to make this work. Is something like this what I'm looking for? Is it likely to be compatible with the HP OfficeJet 5610? I need it to be!

I need to print a huge map, but I need a high resolution source, or vector graphics. I will be printing this on a large 64" color plotter. I found a place that sells pdf/vector files, but they are wanting near $100 dollars, and I don't think they even cover our County. I was hoping there was some software out there that allows this, or better yet, some way to output large images from google maps. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I work on a Mac running Adobe CS3 apps. I have an Adobe Illustrator file from a client that will be going to print. The background of the piece is a linked eps (DCS2) file. I am seeing no preview of this file in Illustrator (it said that I wouldn't see a preview of a DCS in the help menu). I can open the link in Photoshop and it looks fine (CMYK + Spot separations in the channels palette). How will the printer handle this file? Is there another way to adjust the file so that it shows up without losing color information? Thanks-
