There was a video I loved on YouTube that featured Prince's I would die 4 u song, but was made up of clips from Final Fantasy. I loved it, was telling a coworker about it, and now I can't find it. Looking for leads... HOPE ME!

Some time ago - it was several years ago - I read an article online about Prince. It was a piece written by a person (a man, I'm pretty sure) who - I think - was trying to make a film or documentary about him.

In 1984's "Purple Rain," Prince famously tells Apollonia to purify herself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. They're standing by a lake, so she jumps in, and only then does he tell her "That ain't Lake Minnetonka." I believe it's not--I'm a native Twin Citian and Lake Minnetonka is huge and ritzy. But my question is: What lake IS it? Another Twin Cities lake? Something in L.A.? A soundstage pool? (Unlikely!) Does anyone have the definitive answer. You can
watch the scene here, NSFW because she's topless.

I'm looking for a place to hold a company picnic roughly midway between Baltimore city and Prince George's County. We're looking for a park or other outdoor space that could accommodate around 100 people and permits the serving of alcohol. Grills would be a bonus (although realistically we'll probably end up renting them), and we definitely need space for a moon bounce! Our tentative date is August 7th. Ideas? Thanks!

This post made me dig out my Prince cd. And it made me remember how awesome Prince and specifically songs like Darling Nikki make me feel. Mostly like a superhero warrior goddess. I'm looking for more sexy music that makes me feel like this. So what are some songs that make you feel like the most kick ass person in the world? I want that really sexy feel.

Major news outlets agreed to keep Prince Harry's deployment to Afghanistan secret for security reasons; Dick Cheney's hunting accident was kept from the media for at least a day... What are other examples of these government & media secret/blackout practices?

On the heels of his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I've been thinking about Prince again. I flirted with his music in college, but his discography has gotten so out of control that I don't even know where to start. Did he ever write/perform a better song than Little Red Corvette? Are there gems on his epic 3-disc albums? If you were going to make an all-Prince compilation disc, what would you be sure to include?
