Is there a way to find out if Amazon Prime is paying off for me? [more inside]
I need a piece of material for a classroom exercise which involves some succinct explanation of the 'prime directive' in the Star Trek franchise (with which I'm very unfamiliar). Ideally it would be Kirk explaining it interestingly and theatrically, but any bit of video or text, that I could show or read to my class, would be useful.

With all of the technology and information at our fingertips, I am having finding the best way to watch movies. There are no longer any video stores near me. I have amazon prime, HBOgo and Netflix & my cable company on demand. It seems like every time that I want to see a movie it is not on Netflix or HBOgo, but is on Prime. [more inside]

I like buying things on Amazon prime, but only if they are roughly equal to or less than the cost of something that can be found in a supermarket. Is there some site that I can use to find a reasonable "supermarket price" (not the sale price) for things with brand names (like shaving cream or garbage bags) so that I can make sure I'm not paying well above the market price for something? I'd imagine prices vary by region, but I'm willing to take any suggestions. [more inside]
Mom just gave me a $100 Amazon gift card for my birthday. I'm thinking of taking the Amazon Prime plunge. But, I already have Netflix and am very happy with that. "Fringe" is my main reason for wanting Prime and even though it would save me money over renting the show, I wonder if there is other Prime exclusive content to help push me over the edge. I have a subscription video language learning product - it's a popular iPhone app, and we have two languages- (Spanish and English) - about 30 hours total. We built it in-house and we would love to stream at least a few teaser episodes on Netflix and Amazon. But since we created it, we don't have a distributor who can reach out to Amazon or Netflix. Has anyone done this that could put me in touch with someone? The typical searches have yielded little and emailing support@agiantstreamingmediasite will probably not work...

Whose prime is 27? I remember that 27 is called So-And-So's Prime because he said in a lecture, "take any prime, say, twenty-seven..." but I can't remember who said this (and googling only gives me pages about how 27 isn't a prime number).
