What are some good sources for layout and design ideas for professional but interesting business documents/presentations? I have access to a full Adobe Creative Suite, Thinkstock library, etc. My previous job doing these had almost no design in it, and my earlier design experience was several years ago and with a very different audience.

As part of my interview process, I have been asked to kick-off a project to a pretend client. This is for an interactive agency in LA. There will be 5 people acting as stakeholders. I really want this job and want to leave an awesome impression. What things can I do to set myself apart? What are your tips for awesome kick-off meetings? I need to demonstrate my skills as a meeting facilitator and project manager. I am looking for anything that will set me apart including handing out candy / fruit, using an awesome
slide deck, or simply facilitating a awesome kick-off. Have you seen anyone do something awesome in a meeting that wasn't borderline cheesy? I need to demonstrate imagination but also an ability to drive and get things done. Links or videos appreciated as well. Help me get this job!

Do you use or have you used
Articulate software or similar, and if so, can you give me your recommendations, thoughts, advice? I'm looking at software (preferably) or services for creating various types of presentations with a bit of style, and I'm a total newb. I need something that will work for business presentations, e-learning (including quizzes and tests), training videos, and sales presentations in formats that will work locally as well embedded in sites – preferably as flexible as possible.

I am having real trouble recording presentations on my Windows Vista laptop. I have this killer presentation on Open Office Impress and have CamStudio and Audacity. But, Audacity keeps crashing and I can't get CamStudio to record the entire screen. When I set "Full Screen" it just records a corner of it. I am wracking my brain trying to figure out a way to make this presentation work. I also have a Flip Mino and a slideshare account but I don't want to put the presentation online as its a course audition and very rough. Suggestions???

I am trying to move from plastic transparencies in my teaching to a tablet computer. The reason I would like a tablet computer is that (in some classes) I work through problems (including circling and scribbling) with student input. An added issue is that I have a slight tremor, so I would like forgiving software or a large screen. (The iPad has too small a screen and is designed for touch, not writing.) I can use any OS. Any advice?
