I'm looking for a UK site that I saw a while back and daftly appear not to have noted down the name. Basically, it was a gift of the month club: you bought someone a subscription, and each month it sent them something. The gifts were quirky and pretty cool; they tended to be things like one-off runs of prints etc. I can't remember the price; in my mind it was about £20 a month, but could be more than that.

Someone I care for deeply is splitting up with his wife and moving into his own apartment. They have been together for 8 years, and he was married before as well, so he hasn't lived on his own very much in his adult life. I'd like to send him something incredible. [more inside]

GiftFilter: Help me pick out a gift for my wife for her birthday. She doesn't want jewelry, perfume, stock-options etc. The birthday is coming up in two and a half weeks and if it is something I can get in NYC (or in London - will be there in two weeks) even better. Something unique and thoughtful. All suggestions welcome. Price range $50 - $250.
