Professional Conference While Very Pregnant?

There's a professional conference I attended most years, but wasn't planning on going to this summer because I'll be 35, almost 36 weeks pregnant at the time. Now there's a chance for me to present at the conference, which would be great professionally, and I just want to be sure I'm thinking this through before turning it down. This is my first pregnancy so I don't have anything to compare it to. [more inside]

If you could move anywhere for 6 months to a year where would you go?

We currently live in the US Virgin Islands. We have a healthy little 15-month old boy and we are hoping for a +/-2 year difference in age for our 2nd, so family planning begins now. Zika is expected to rip around the Caribbean islands for the foreseeable future. That means we have to move. [more inside]

Bye bye baby! Travel during third trimester.

My boyfriend and I are planning a babymoon over Thanksgiving or Christmas. For work reasons, Christmas would be more convenient for me, however, I'd be 7 months pregnant (I'm due at the end of February). Is this a foolhardy venture? [more inside]

Travel 5 weeks before wife’s due date? Chances of missing the birth?

I'm thinking about being a away for a week, around 4-5 weeks before my wife's due date. I'm looking hard statistics (chances of missing the birth) and soft advice (what would you do) to help with this decision. [more inside]

Baby Momma Honeymoon

I am planning our post-wedding honeymoon. As an added bonus to the post-wedding bliss, my wife just found out she is 6 weeks pregnant!!! We wanted to do a blowout honeymoon, but with the recent news, we are at a loss as to what we should do and where we should go. We know we are going to be very busy with children in 8 months, and because of this, we think we should take a trip that would be very unlikely with kids in tow. But, because she is pregnant, I am not about to offer up trekking in Nepal, or diving in the Great Barrier Reef. My baby needs her chill time. [more inside]

Will Langerado burn my "bun-in-the-oven"?

My wife and I saw the lineup for Langerado last night and both of us are dying to go. However, around that first weekend in march, she will be eight months pregnant (or seven, math is hard, we're due in early May). She has never had an experience like Langerado, i.e. festivals full of hippies and lots of music. I have, and we have been meaning to do one together but things like law school and jobs have prevented us from doing so. Should the pregnancy stop us now? [more inside]
