Is it true that the first thing women check out on a guy are his glutes?

Is it true that the first thing women check out on a guy are his glutes? Hi everybody,

I recently heard that - after such things as the face - the one thing women check out first on a male are his glutes. Consequently, the butt seems to be the body part with the most sex appeal in the male body.

Is this true?

(Apart from anecdotal evidence I could not find any (scientific) information that would prove this claim. Also, I always thought male physical attractiveness was primarily determined by a v-shaped back.)

For those of you in areas that have multiple teams in the your area, like New York has the Giants and Jets, Chicago has the Cubs and White Sox, and Los Angeles has the Lakers and the Clippers, how did you choose which team to be a fan of?

Ranked preference in an HTML form?

Is there a way to rank choices or preferences for a question in a HTML form? I'm trying to build a HTML form that will allow a user to rank their responses. For example, if I ask what their favorite color is:

A. Red
B. Blue
C. Green
D. Yellow

... I would like to know that their order of preference is C, A, D, then B.

Any ideas? I've been searching, but I'm either coming up blank or searching for the wrong combination of words.

Where can I find music I will like?

Metafilter braintrust: Is there a site I can go to and enter an artist/group of artists and get recommendations based on my listening preferences? Something a little less retail oriented (ahem: Amazon). Thanks!

Excel Hotlinking

Yo, skryche! How do I keep Excel from hotlinking URLs as I paste them into cells? I use spreadsheets to store, sort, and transform lots of URLs. But Excel seems to think that anything beginning with "http://" is something I want blue and underlined and hotlinked for easy clicking. It doesn't happen right away, only once I leave the cell does it become a hot link. I'd like Excel to just leave my text strings alone. I don't want to launch a browser window every time I click in a cell that contains a URL. And I'm tired of doing the right-click-remove-hyperlink thing every single time. Formatting the column as plain text before dropping in the URL *doesn't* work. As soon as you paste a URL into a cell, Excel wakes up, decides to "preserve the formatting" of your pasted text, and voila! A nice blue hot link. Is there a preference I can un-check for this?

Sorry if this is a stupid one. I can't find anything in the help documentation or via Google that solves my stupid problem.
