Wearing you makes me feel oh so good

Things that feel great to wear...what are they? I value comfort immensely when it comes to clothing, but I also want to feel confident in what I'm wearing. I'm okay with suggestions for casual wear, but I have a much harder time finding comfortable clothing that's both stylish and dressy/professional. [more inside]

Some like it hot

I'm trying to improve my husband's coffee experience with a birthday gift. His number one issue is that hot drinks get cold too quickly. He also doesn't totally love having two things to clean up (french press + coffee cup). So I thought I'd get him something nifty to solve these problems. Does anyone have recommendations? Suggestions for ultra-practical upgrades to my life?

Suggestions for ultra-practical upgrades to this life? I received a ~$5,000 windfall with some hefty strings attached, the main of which is that I must spend it within 60 days. Another kicker: whatever money I don't use before the deadline goes to a cause I'm ethically opposed to. I'm a single mom who, right now, would rather buy makes-life-easier/peace-of-mind type things, not silk sheets or espresso makers. [more inside]

Help me give a gift, not reduce closet space

I need a gift idea for my late 20's brother living in Japan, but going to be receiving the gift in Toronto. ~$50. MUST be something 'useful'. I refuse to give gifts where the receiver will say 'great, what am I supposed to do with this thing now'. [more inside]

Have online grocers or drug stores become practical?

I live in Los Angeles, and I was wondering whether online grocers or drugstores have become practical, cost-effective, or actually convenient yet. I figure the day will probably come when ordering baking soda or toothpaste online makes more sense than driving to the store. How far away is that day?
