Looking to purchase some awesome linguistics-related posters. I've searched for hours on the internet and I can't seem to find any family tree posters, IPA posters, or even anything remotely related to linguistics that is interesting and somewhat academic. [more inside]

Quick! I need to explain why mopoetry[at]gmail.com should be typed as such and not email@example.com. Can anyone give a concise and historical reason to choose this option, especially for use on a poster?

I would love a huge poster of something like this
. But I can't find anything like it on sites that sell posters. Does anyone know where I could find very high resolution images of die cores?

In the article regarding
the AP demanding compensation for Shepherd Fairy's appropriation of a photograph of Obama for the "Hope" poster, it says:
"I donated an image to them, which they used. It was the one that said "Change" underneath it. And then later on I did another one that said "Vote" underneath it, that had Obama smiling," he said in a December 2008 interview with an underground photography Web site.
Which underground photography website would that be? Googling the quote, or variations of, only brings me this news article.

I'm prepared to design it myself, but I'm interested in a spectacularly type-set/laid out kitchen poster that has common conversions and equivalents on it (Cup/Gallon, that sort of thing).
Anyone seen something heart stopping?

Help me find this poster/image: On the back wall of the Diamond Knot Brew Pub on the waterfront in Mukilteo, WA, there is a poster showing the Wright Flyer in the air over a beach, presumably Kitty Hawk. The shadow of the Wright Flyer has the shape of a modern stealth fighter or bomber (kind of a delta or flying-wing shape). [more inside]

One of my favortie movies is The Seven Samurai (七人の侍, Shichinin no samurai)

I want to get a poster-sized art print of a PDF (all vector graphics). Since it seems like there are a thousand companies promising high quality prints online, I'd love to hear anybody's recommendations about who I should go to for this sort of job.

A while ago, I went into a Christian bookstore and saw a poster/reprinted painting of Jesus dressed in a very colorful coat and he had a really big smile and was possibly laughing. From what I remember, the picture showed the whole body of Jesus as opposed to just his face - can anyone help me find this image? There's a best answer in it for the winner :)
BTW - The basic Google search
yielded some fine pictures, but not the one I was searching for.

Does anyone know of where I could get (or download) a good sized copy of this
poster (advertising the fictional magician Li H'sen Chang), seen in the classic Dr Who story 'The Talons of Weng Chiang'
? I'd love to get a large sized copy to frame for my living room for some subtle geek chic!
