Looking for a link I saw a while back (maybe a year agoish?), it may have been posted on the blue but I'm not sure. It was something like the 50 (100?) best parts of songs ever. It described the best ~10 second long sections from songs.

I'm in the early stages of writing a paper on professor-student romantic relationships/affairs and am looking for some pop culture to back me up. Can anyone suggest any novels, movies, etc., that deal with this topic? I'm looking primarily for male professor/female student, but the other way around works, as well. Thanks.

Is Sex and the City, or is it not, a worthwhile pastime? Is it an assault on the very essence of our human-ness, or does it teach women to be strong and independent in a man's world, or is it neither of these things and something else entirely? And finally, can a man who hates the show and a woman who loves it coexist in the same romantic relationship? Can they have amazing sex, at least?

What are some good pop culture blogs? I'm looking for some good writers who like to riff on anything and everything: music, movies, books, random pop-sociology articles, etc.; people who aren't breathlessly following the latest reality show but also who aren't trying to show off their fanboy Pitchfork-esque indie creds. The less politics, the better. Bonus points for people who do more original stuff and less meme-o'-the-day crap and for people with a wicked sense of humor.
