My backyard is infested with suicidal worms. We have a pool. Gross Filter: I remember hearing a couple years ago about a couple incidents involving swimmers and badly maintained swimming pool filters wherein the swimmer would be sitting on the bottom of the pool, on the filter, and the filter cover would give out, resulting in the most horrific situation I can think of. How do I cool my pool? It's 112 degrees outside these days and my pool temperature is getting up to 86 degrees, which is bathwater nasty. How can I cool the water down? I have an Airator but I don't know how well it will work. I could add 10 pound ice blocks but how many ice blocks do I have to add to bring down the temperature? Any other suggestions?

Has anyone ever patched a leak under water in a pool liner in an in-ground pool? The leak in my wonderful, generous, pool sharing, neighbor's pool is about 2 feet under the water level and we don't want to have to drain all that water in the middle of the summer.
