Should I pick up other dogs' poop while walking my dogs?
I pick up my own dogs' poop but I don't pick up other poops when I am on walks. Am I being clueless when I step over another dog's poop without picking it up?

What is this strange phenomenon happening with ostensibly house trained dogs soiling the house? I just threw out three area rugs that my 4 yr. old Beagle has ruined by pooing and peeing on them, even to the point of blackening the hardwood floor beneath. The very FIRST thing my son's dog does when she visits is crap and pee right in front of us! No shame....

[infant poo details follow] My one year old son wakes up when he dirties his diaper. Regrettably this tends to be at 5.30 / 6am - an hour before he's supposed to get up. If he doesn't then he sleeps through. He only goes once per day. Ideally I'd like this to be later in the morning. Any ideas how to move his body clock?

we have two recalcitrant boys. dodgie, the seven year old border terrier, and wedgie the six year old toy poodle.
we also have a newly crawling baby. and a back yard. and a clothes line.
basically.... my boys keep pooing where they always have. in the back yard, wherever they like..... but mostly under the clothes line. and inevitably, i walk in it. it's not special.
