I need a good D&D-themed podcast. The only one I've found that's still updating is a recording of a game group's actual sessions, but that's not what I want. Ideally, it'll be about running a good game, creating campaigns, &c. Any links for me?

Is there software to automatically manage podcasts on my Rio Carbon Pearl? I'm looking for something that will function like iTunes for an iPod or Zune for a Zune -- keep only unplayed shows on my player, download new shows when I run the software, etc. Are there any iTunes alternatives which will handle this on my Rio Carbon? I'm running XP.

Lately NPR podcasts such as
Fresh Air,
Wait, Wait..., and
All Songs Considered have been acting wonky with multiple files of the same podcast, often incomplete, showing up in my podcatcher. I subscribe via Google Reader and dL files manually to my player, and have tried un- and then resubscribing to the feeds, but to no avail. Is it NPR's problem or an RSS issue on my end? I haven't been able to find any notices regarding service issues on the NPR sites.

What podcasts will make me more intelligent just by listening to them? I enjoy the BBC's "In Our Time", which features serious discussion of historical events and people by academics working in the field, and also quirky, thought-provoking programs like WNYC's "Radio Lab" and "This American Life". I'm not so keen on some of the podcasts I typically get from newspapers that gloss over the surface of a subject with little analysis. What other highbrow podcasts are made by people who really know their shit?

I added some new music tracks to iTunes, and for some reason it thought they were podcast episodes. So it doesn't show them under 'Music'. But it's not showing them in the 'Podcasts' library either. I've deleted the music files from the Finder, but how can I clear out the tracks from my iTunes library?

What is a good way to share the 50+ (phew) podcasts I listen to? A number of friends hear me talk about the greatness of podcasts and they want to know what I'm listening to. I'm stuck as to finding a good way to share my list, I can't copy my subscription list from iTunes.
If I had just a few, or if I wasn't adding/subtracting podcasts regularly, it wouldn't be a big deal. Is there a way I can place my list of podcasts on the web that I can update regularly, with descriptions and links to the subscription feeds?

Storytelling, deep news stories, themed narratives: Podcasts in this vein wanted. Think "This American Life" but not always as funny or quirky, or the longer news stories on NPR that use the lens of a smaller story-within-a-story. Artsy takes on news also welcome. In addition, which Latino podcasts (in the same general format) have caught your ear?

iTunesFilter, part I: Why can't podcasts downloaded from the Music Store play in
shuffled playlists? Is there any way around this?
If I'm in a shuffled playlist mixed with podcasts and regular MP3's, it will only go from regular MP3's to regular MP3's and skip the podcasts downloaded from the MS altogether. Of course, if I go back to linear play mode, the podcasts play allright.
iTunesFilter, part II: Is there any way to make the podcasts always start at the beginning of the track (i.e., to remove the bookmark function)?

Is there a sports podcast worth listening to? I'm looking for something that is released once or twice a week, is comprised of discussion and analysis rather than interviews, and focuses on non-motor sports popular in the United States. Rather than making my way though a mass of random iTunes categorical picks, I'd love to get some recommendations.

Can anyone recommend further listening along the lines of
"The Treatment" in Real/WMA/mp3-based streaming format? I mean, obviously there's
"Fresh Air" and
"ATC." But are there more? I drive a lot. A LOT. I am interested in entertainment and popular culture. Not so much the political, please, unless it's far-out crackpot funny stuff.

Seeking recommendations: What software I can use to broadcast live, on-location streaming audio to the Web without a lot of painful configuration and thumb-twisting?
I'm a solo guitarist, and a lot of the places I've been playing at are starting to offer free wireless Internet access. So now I have this crazy idea that I could use my iBook to broadcast my performances live on the Web. The problem is that most of the software I've looked into requires things like open firewall ports, static IPs, etc. and there's no way the people who manage the local CoffeeHaus are gonna agree to do that. So, are there other options?
Bonus points if it works on OS X, but I'll take Windows options too. It doesn't have to be a free solution either, although that'd be swell. Ideally, I'd like listeners to be able to use Winamp or something similar to listen.
