I'd like a Flash video player of my video podcast on the web site, and a high-quality (960x540 should work) video file in the podcast feed.
I'm currently using WordPress
to manage the feed and video. But I can see why some people who don't want to install QuickTime might not be able to see the show. [more inside]

I am looking to get a mixer for my podcast, 300 bucks or less. I would like to get the Alesis IMULTIMIX8USB but I'm not sure if the recording to ipod is worth the extra 100 bucks. Can someone recommend a good usb or firewire mixer?

What podcasts will make me more intelligent just by listening to them? I enjoy the BBC's "In Our Time", which features serious discussion of historical events and people by academics working in the field, and also quirky, thought-provoking programs like WNYC's "Radio Lab" and "This American Life". I'm not so keen on some of the podcasts I typically get from newspapers that gloss over the surface of a subject with little analysis. What other highbrow podcasts are made by people who really know their shit?

I've a midterm tomorrow on direct response marketing, but if I look at my notes one more time I'll projectile vomit. Can someone recommend a podcast or engaging article I can chill out to instead?

I added some new music tracks to iTunes, and for some reason it thought they were podcast episodes. So it doesn't show them under 'Music'. But it's not showing them in the 'Podcasts' library either. I've deleted the music files from the Finder, but how can I clear out the tracks from my iTunes library? [more inside]

What can I do with my podcast?
I started my podcast with a layman's perspective on depression and anxiety and a focus on positive thinking in 2005, but have since run out of steam, time and ideas. I don't want to drop the domain name and let it slide, but would rather change the focus and format. Any ideas, MeFi? [more inside]

In Linux, what's the simplest way to take a podcast RSS file as input, and output a file containing just the URLs of all the MP3s enclosed in the RSS file? Difficulty: the method must only Bash + GNU tools, Python or Perl, with no non-standard add-on libraries or dependencies required.
