I've got a trip coming up, and I need to find a good universal power adapter/converter. Reviews are hit or miss for pretty much every product online. Looking for some recommendations on products you've actually used and can vouch for.

At the public library where I work, our sockets are horribly placed right under the public computers. Because of this placement, our power strips are knocked out of the socket several times a week.

My Daughter had a slow leak in one of her tires. A repututable neighborhood gas station identified the problem as a small nail as the cause for the leak and recommended a PLUG. I want to insure my Daughter is safe; therefore I ask is plugging a tire a good idea?

The outlets in my new apartment are two pronged. I've been tearing the third prong off of power strips in order to plug them into the wall. Is this bad?
