I want to hang a rope swing in a public park in London. Should I?

The park near where we live has many tall plane trees. There's a playground where my children often play. One plane tree has a lateral branch over the playground that's ideal for a rope swing. I'm considering just doing it. [more inside]

How to buy home playground equipment

My kiddo is turning three this summer and we are thinking about getting him a playground set for the backyard. I've been looking at some online and realize I'm not even sure where to start on this - the prices vary to a crazy degree and there are so many different options. If you have a playground set, what do you like or dislike about it? What should I consider when making this purchase? Was it worth the money, or is it just collecting dust?

Where can I get interlocking rubber play surface mats in the bay area?

I am looking for something like these for our backyard. They need to be designed for outdoor use and rain. You can find similar ones online, but since these are really heavy, the shipping costs are as much as the mats. Are there any local retailers in the bay area that will sell small quantities to an individual? I have Amazon Prime but have not found anything Prime-eligible that looks decent.

Allentown PA / Bethlehem PA - Indoor Playground or Children's Museum?

I need to entertain my 2.5 year old for several hours this weekend while my wife attends a bridal shower in Macungie, PA - which is right outside of Allentown PA, here's a Google Maps link of the area. Can anyone suggest an indoor playground or children's museum or something else that my kid might enjoy? Something within a 30 minute drive?

Where can I find "regulation" measurements for marking playground games like hopscotch and four-square?

Does anyone know where can I find free plans for marking games onto a playground surface? We're working on revamping the playground at my kid's school.
