New Pinyin IME

I need a better Pinyin input system than Microsoft Pinyin IME. I like how Microsoft pinyin works in general, but it is way to buggy and slow. Typing in Chinese shouldn't noticeably slow my computer down. Plus the learning algorithm it uses makes no sense. I type in "nihao" and it gives me 倪豪 first instead of 你好.

Any suggestions for better input systems that use the same general style would be welcome. (I'm not about to attempt wubi).

Hack my Cell

How can I get my Sony Ericsson k750 to a) display 3rd tone letters in Chinese pinyin and b) stop telling me I'm out of memory for text messages when I have another 100+mb free on my memory stick? When I use CEDICT + DictionaryForMIDuis or a WAP dictionary, third tones pop up as a square. There's gotta be a way to update the unicode/utf8 or whatever character set is on the phone. They blew me off when I called tech support. For what it's worth, I bought the phone in China and have full character - traditional and simplified - support.

Bonus points for whoever can tell me how to put a t9 dictionary for Tagalog on my girlfriends w800.

Translating Pinyin to English?

Can anyone help me translate Pinyin to English or know of a site that can translate phrases? A friend of mine was sent this, 'Wo zhen de shang ni chu, yen wei wo xi huan ni pe wo de shi zhen' and he has asked my help in finding out what it means. For all I know it could be totally insulting, inappropriate, etc... so apologies in advance if its offensive. Anyone?

Does an English/Chinese dictionary with pinyin exist for Symbian 60 OS?

I've given up. I can't seem to find this anywhere. Perhaps MeFi can do it? I'm looking for an English-Chinese dictionary for my Nokia N70 phone that has pinyin pronouncations listed for the characters. I want characters, too, but the pinyin is pretty key if I'm actually going to be able to say anything. I'm running Symbian 60 OS. You would think this shouldn't be that hard to find but everything I find either doesn't have pinyin or is for the wrong Symbian OS.
