Allergy/EyeballFilter: What's the same in Japan, Italy and Austria?

Allergy Brainstorm Time: What could I possibly have an allergic reaction to in my EYE in Italy, Austria and Japan? I've been battling follicular conjunctivitis (aka a version of pink eye) for 2+ months now and seeing pretty good doctors and what not, and it seems that the only possibility remaining is a case of allergic conjunctivitis.

Now what's weird is that I've never really had difficulties with allergies, and I've had this now for 1 month in Italy, 1 month in Austria, and now, after 2 weeks totally clear in Japan (the first 10 days were spent tapering off of Hydrocortisone drops), I'm suddenly getting symptoms again. Wtf?

So, what could I either be bringing with me to all of these places, or what is the same in all of these places? Are japanese dust mites the same as european dust mites? Is Japanese pollen the same as European? The only toiletries I've brought with me are shaving supplies (every 3 days), toothpaste and preservative free artificial tears (didn't start using those again until the symptoms started coming back yesterday).

Also, if anyone has been diagnosed with allergic/follicular conjunctivitis and it turned out to be something else, please lemme know. The other extremely weird thing with the diagnosis is that my fiancee has had similar, but lesser symptoms on and off during the same period.

Disclaimer: I know you are not my doctor, but hell, I'm in Japan and I have some doubts as to whether I'm going to find a *very good* ophthalmologist to solve a *very weird, non-standard presentation* of an eye problem AND speak English.

Why aren't there more pink cars?

Why don't car manufacturers make pink cars? They make cars in lots of other colors (ROYGBIV, brown, black, gray, beige). And pink is an awfully popular color for gadgets these days- pink mp3 players, pink phones, pink laptops. So why aren't there more pink cars? I don't know that I've ever seen a pink car that wasn't custom painted. Is this simply an issue of there not being a market for pink cars, or are there other factors involved?

Where to find pink stoneware bowls?

Where can I find a good set of pink stoneware (mixing) bowls? well -- i'm a little embarassed to ask this. my wife asked for some pink stoneware bowls (specifically latte bowls from williams-sonoma) for our anniversary, and i decided to wait a bit to order them so that they would arrive closer to the actual date. unfortunately, these bowls were discontinued in the meantime, and no store stocks them any longer.

i've struggled to find suitable replacements, and was wondering if anyone has such bowls or knows of such bowls for sale? it's a very specific dilemma, i know. what i have found so far (abode bowls from amazon was the closest match) hasn't been what she was looking for.

in retrospect, i should have ordered the bowls earlier. i realize this. my wife knows i'm asking about this, as she knows about my searches, and on some level, i'm pretty sure she's bopping my head with a small, rubber mallet. if you have any direction to offer regarding the bowls, it would be much appreciated. thanks!

pretty in pink...laptop that is

My wife wants a pink laptop. Not just a pink laptop, but a really lightweight pink laptop (preferably 3-4 lbs or less). I've gone crazy googling for it and there doesn't seem to be such a beast. I seem to remember seeing pink Sony Vaios at the local Sony store (I could've sworn it was the TX series) but the only color for TX's on the Sony site is Sienna. Close but not quite. The Sony C series has a pink model, but it's on the heavier side. It doesn't have to be super-fast or anything, just fast enough for Outlook, web browsing, etc. Does such a computer exist currently?

It's in my head and I can't get it out!

What is the name of the music that accompanied the Pink Panther cartoon series? I'm aware that the main theme was by Henry Mancini, but I'm after the music that was in the background during the cartoon itself. The music fequently synched up with the action onscreen. I have found the credited composers for the Fritz Freleng cartoons, but my google-fu is failing me for a title.

Styrofoam packing peanuts - why pink? A few days ago my girlfriend got a package filled with those styrofoam packing peanuts. All of the peanuts were pink, and I've also seen them in other colors.

I assume they were dyed - but why would somebody bother to dye them? Or bleach them, in the case of white peanuts, for that matter?

OK, don't laugh, what goes with pink jeans on a guy? So this store around the corner had a closeout sale, and I saw a pair of jeans going for $9. They fit me perfectly.

But...they are pink.

What clothing / shoes will match them so that I don't look like a total doofus? I am an asian guy with slightly darker complexion.

DecoratorEyeFilter: what can I do about my bathroom? The pro is that the house is 50-ish years old and the wall and floor tiles are actual ceramic. The con is that they're PINK. Can anyone suggest some miraculous color for the non-tile walls above waist height that will reduce the atrociousness of PINK? I have considered grey, as one of the worst villains in the Rex Stout detective stories had an underground bunker/office with grey-stained wood panel walls and pink indirect lighting around the ceiling, but for all I know this color combo was chosen to show how warped and evil mr. villain was. Also, the way it's described, mr. villain's pink was a lot more subdued than the PINK I have to face each morning. Plaster and shower curtain are just white now. Should I just grit my teeth and live with it? The preferred solution (ripping everything out and re-doing it) is not a financial option. Hoping for a stroke of genius from of the many geniuses who hang out here. Thanks!

On the movie version of Pink Floyd's The Wall, there's a short instrumental piece before "In The Flesh" (I think), with a guitar and flute, the guitar part starts something like this:
