I'm looking for really simple PHP image gallery software that does RSS, automatically parses a directory of images, and automatically generates thumbnails. That's really about it.

While on vacation, I bought a new camera but accidentally set the date to 2006, not 2007. I want to fix this, but keep still keep the dates in order. Is there a quick way to batch edit a large set of photos where I can simply roll the date forward a year instead of having to go in individually to change each date? I've found a mac program that does this, but have yet to find a windows one. Flickr has something similar, but you can only roll forward a couple of days.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an all-in-one photo editing/FTP/weblogging software? I know how to do all the steps manually, but am having a very hard time teaching her how to do it all. Wanted features - photo cropping, auto levels, thumbnail creation, ftp, and hopefully some sort of utility to generate weblog posts with image url and popup code. Does that make sense?

Long ago, I recall seeing a link (maybe on MeFi, but I can't find it) for a website that displayed some pretty impressive technology used to bring out the detail from shadows in photographs. I seem to recall that there was an online version that you could use for testing (upload your photo and it would lighten the shadow areas). Does anyone remember this, and if so, do you know the URL?
