Help Me Choose the Right Blogging Software

I need help choosing blogging software that is affordable, not overly complex but still feature-rich for an image-heavy site that will feature blog posts and encourage community interaction. I have a domain and am planning to start a business that my site will support. I will be building and posting using OS X and iOS. I used to use iWeb. I didn't love it, but it made adding and manipulating media (photos, video, audio) easy, and it wasn't difficult to tweak existing themes to make them uniquely my own. I loved the WYSIWYG interface, but haven't seen any other blogging software like this. I'm quite adventurous regarding technology, so the more plug-ins or widgets to choose among, the better. I may eventually have a podcast, allow call-in comments, etc. I do not have a lot of money to put into the blog right now, but will invest more down the line. I need to start out affordably using a platform that will grow with me. There are so many choices out there that I am simply stuck. Please help me narrow my choices!

Does this Vietnamese caption contain an attribution?

Can anyone who reads Vietnamese make out the caption below this photograph? (Warning: gory and/or potentially NSFW war photograph). I'm specifically interested in whether any of the information in the caption could lead to a potential attribution.

Looking for photo credits for the bing dynamic wallpaper theme

I use the bing dynamic wallpaper for windows 7 and I can't find out any info on the pics. I have searched extensively and haven't found any site that indexes them or credits the authors etc. All I've found is a way to review the daily bing background on the homepage, but that only goes back 1 week. What's the best (easiest/cheapest/most realistic) way to turn an over-exposed sky more blue in my digital photographs?

What's the best (easiest/cheapest/most realistic) way to turn an over-exposed sky blue in my digital photographs? I know it's possible to use Photoshop to do this, but I don't own that software, and I'd rather not buy it if there's a cheaper, easier way to do this. I do use iPhoto, but I couldn't find a way to do it with that. Importantly - I'm hoping to find a solution that makes this easy enough to do for LOTs of photos. I would consider something like Aperture or Lightroom if that's a good option. [more inside]

Multimedia school?

Are there any universities/colleges/institutes that have an all-in-one program for video, photography, print and web design? My online searches have come up fruitless as most programs seem to be separated out. Location doesn't matter, nor does degree/diploma/certificate received. At the end of it I want to be able to shoot, light, edit, etc video and photos and understand and apply colour theory, typography, page layout, etc for print and web designs.

Moving away from DSLR Camera - Looking for a smaller/lighter alternative.

Mama, they took my Kodachrome away

Would it be feasible to restart Kodachrome film production and developing services on a small scale, in the way that The Impossible Project has restarted small scale production of instant film for Polaroid cameras? By feasible, I mean doing it at a scale that would make enough profit to keep one or two people employed to do the work.

Photography portfolio website suggestions?

I need a photography portfolio website for myself. I already maintain smugmug and flickr sites, but these are mainly used for works in progress and special projects. Not final collections. I want something that is simple, elegant and easy to manage, supporting three or four galleries with limited numbers of images and an about page. I've looked into Joomla with Joom:Gallery and it all seems too much, overkill and means I'd have to become a web gal again. Should I bite the bullet and learn Joomla or another CMS, hire a designer or is there a service that "keeps it simple" and without their own branding?
