I'm not a professional photographer, but I did some photography work (unpaid) for my company... is that work for hire or is it something else?

I'm a below average looking guy to start with. In photos, though, I look like the troll from under the bridge. I'm going to sign up for online dating soon. How can I obtain a picture of myself that doesn't scare small children and pets—or, more importantly, 18-25 year old girls?

OK, I'm pretty sure this issue is creepy, so, brace yourself.
The gist of the issue is that I'll be in public, at the store, the park, whatever, and I'll see someone who I find is very attractive ("wow, I can't believe how hot she is."). But, instead of simply letting that nice moment pass and continuing on my way as normal, I remain distracted, not really able to focus on what it is I was doing or was going to do, for a very long while, up to an hour or more.

My signifigant other is on permanent disability. I just started college as a full-time student myself. I am going to jr college. Paid for tuition and books via Pell Grant, and using the remainder of loans plus s.o.'s disability payments to cover living expenses-- as you can imagine it's tight but we're making do so far. Significant other wants to get a BS in photography. Is Art institute of Pittsburgh right place?

I want to color correct my digital photos, but I have a color vision deficiency. Up to now, I've been correcting the levels manually, but relying on the auto-color features in Picasa or Photoshop for colors, but often this doesn't do a good job and the colors look off, even to me. I can manually correct the levels and adjust the colors so they look right to me, but that doesn't guarantee they will look right to others. Is there any way to color correct numerically (for instance, using the eyedropper tool on someone's face to to see if the RGB value of skin falls within a skin-tone range) Otherwise, is there a service that I can send my digital photos to where they can color correct them perfectly and send them back? I'm interested in the digital files, not in getting prints.

I'm clueless about rights issues when it comes to how things work between photographer & subject, and as a performer I need to learn. If no release was signed at a photoshoot, who has what rights?

As a gift for my husband, I took some saucy pictures. The pictures are nothing by the standards of the internet, but not the type of thing I'd be comfortable sending to Target or Wal-Mart to print out. Are there any
discrete online digital photo printing services you'd recommend? Or should I just buy a photo printer? Which one?

I'm an amateur photographer, and a television producer has sent me some email. He'd like to use some of my photos of my school for a TV show, in exchange for credit and a DVD of the show. What should I know?

I would like to do digital post-production / photo retouching as a career. Is this realistic, i.e. something I can actually make a living at? And, if so, where do I start?

I am a photographer. My photographs are currently on a website that I used to work with but have since had a disagreement. I own the copyright to my images and would like the website to remove them. They are being very slow in their response as removing the images will create very negative publicity for them.
I have maintained their website for the last 4 years and have full admin access to their dedicated server. If I log in and remove my images, could I be accused of misuse of computers?

What type of schooling, if any, would be best for cultivating talent and securing a career in photography? I am a bit suspicious about the necessity of a college education for a career in photography (and in general), and am not crazy about the debt that accrues. Should I go back to school or drop out and dive head first into the fray?
