Goodbye, XP...hello photo-optimized desktop?

So. I guess they're finally going to pry XP out of my hands after all. As long as I'm updating, I'm thinking of getting a new desktop which would be used primarily for photo editing and storage. Advice? Special snowflake stuff inside. [more inside]

Darkroom Question: Reflections from Stainless Steel countertop in Enlarger

Darkroom question: if I set up my enlarger on a stainless steel countertop, will reflections from the safe lights or the enlarger itself cause problems (i.e. fogging)?
