I am starting a blog which will feature photographs taken by my boyfriend and myself. He is a professional video cameraman and also an excellent photographer but neither of us are stylists. Can you help with some prop and set up ideas? [more inside]

Do you have the book, "The Other End of the Leash (Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs)" by Patricia McConnell? Can you look in or on your book and see if there is a photo credit for the cover photograph

I bought this
photo at a yard sale today. The woman who sold it to me had no idea who the people in it are. She said she'd had the photo since 1960. It's clearly a lot older than that. What, if anything, can you tell me about it?

I read a true crime book some years back, I don't remember anything about the book except one story.
My memory is hazy, but this is what I remember: some people were abducted in the USA. My memory tells me it was a mother and child/ren. I'm 99% certain it was an adult woman and at least one child even if they may not have been related.
Now the very creepy part. Photos of these people were found in a public bathroom sometime later. In the photos the woman was tied up, perhaps a child was also in the photo I'm not sure.
I'd like to verify if this story was indeed true or just made up by the author and I've tried googling many times without luck.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with Harvey Glatman

I accidentally deleted, in-camera, an important and unrepeatable picture. It was written to a sony memory stick pro in a sony cybershot dsc-p150 camera. Any way to retrieve it?

Photosearch: I'm looking for a photo from the 2003 NY blackout. It's of a single building that still had light due to having a fuel cell. It may be the Central Park police station (but maybe not) and it may have appeared in the NYT.

When did people start smiling for photographs? What is the oldest extant photograph of someone smiling (whether for the camera or incidentally)?

Is there a way to search for a photograph on line, not by caption, key words, etc. but by uploading a photo and then searching for that photo?
