I'm looking for a specific photo of a cat that I found on Flickr a few years ago. It was an orange cat with a lion cut, sitting up. He may or may not have been sticking out his tongue. It was a scanned Polaroid, with a blue background. Does anyone remember seeing this?

I have a bunch of photos I haven't uploaded to Flickr. Why? Because it's a pain with the tools I have now. I want to be able to color-correct, title, caption, tag, and upload photos from my Mac as fast as possible.

I am getting married soon, and for my reception I'd like to set up an easy system for my friends and family to send me all of the photos that they took during the day. My friends in the past used a shared flickr account, giving the password away so everyone could log into the account and upload the photos. I'm wondering if any mefites have a better solution out there.

Are there better alternatives to flickr for sharing photos with a large group of international people? I'm trying to come up with an easy way to have access from the US to people's photos from abroad -- particularly the Mid East, Philippines, South Africa, and Argentina -- without having to e-mail multiple attachments or send photo CDs through the mail.

Over the last few days, one of my pictures on Flickr has received about 300 views. This represents a quarter of all views to all my pictures since I joined. Someone must be linking to it, how can I find out who's doing so?

I've read through the AskMe archives, and I didn't really find an answer to my question. We found a photo on Flickr that we want to use as a banner on the site for our new production of a play that is in the public domain. I've mocked up the banner and tried to contact the owner of the photo. . . but what if she doesn't contact us back?

I was thinking about setting up a flickr page to display a very extensive set of photos I took during high school, between 1996 and 2000. Since most of the things I do on the internet come back to bite me in the ass, I thought I would ask about the legal and ethical questions this kind of project might raise and what kind of pertinent information I may have overlooked.

At the end of next week, I will be embarking on a move from the New York City area to San Jose, California. I have this brilliant (or slightly overzealous) idea to "geophotopodcast" my way across the country using a combination of different technologies, so my friends back home can keep up with my adventures. What suggestions can you offer me for making my high-tech travelog cooler / easier to execute?

I want to create a website which visitors can "annotate" with something more than a simple commenting system. Basically, I'm looking for
Flickr's photo annotation capabilities, but for html documents instead of jpegs. My instincts say this could be accomplished with some fancy CSS and javascript, but I would prefer not to start from scratch if something already exists. Any ideas?
