I'm going to be travelling to India soon and I wanted to get a prepaid cellular connection for my iPhone to avoid roaming charges and for internet access.
What's the cheapest/best prepaid connection in India (going to be travelling around South India)? Is there some way I can buy it in the US so I can have cellular access from when I immediately arrive? [more inside]

Going to Paris next spring 2013, traveling with parents who will be staying at a different hotel on other side of city. Would like to be able to call them to coordinate, what's the best option? [more inside]

How can I add money to my T-Mobile Sim Card in Germany without knowing German? I'm in a little town where there doesn't seem to be a T-Mobile store or any other obvious place to add funds. I can call a number but it's all in German! Is there an easier way to do this? [more inside]

I'm going to be traveling around Asia (Southeast Asia, China and possibly Mongolia) from the 18th of this month until August of 2006, and I want to get an international cell phone. What are my options here? I'm clueless.

European disposable mobile phones: My parents, who are American, are going to Edinburgh, London & Paris later this week. They've asked me what I know about disposable/rentable phones since their phones won't work over there. I know nothing. So now I'm asking all of you: What do you know about good deals on disposable/rentable phones in the UK & France? (I believe they're looking to use the phones for a period of 7-10 days, and if it makes things simpler I think they are willing to do without during the French portion of the trip if necessary)
