I have a day to do shop for petite sized clothes and shoes in London. I need everything from t-shirts to dresses. Good quality clothes preferred, but getting some items at Topshop and the like would be fine. Where should I go?

I am having serious issues finding a bra that fits me. However, since I've been to multiple stores already, I've had some success defining exactly what I need. Previous Qs on bras don't address my very specific petite, plus-size situation. Metafilter, does this bra exist?? [more inside]

Not really, but it’s just as tall of an order. I am looking to invest in a winter jacket, since I’m tired of buying one that falls apart after a couple of seasons. It needs to be formal, yet casual, and made for a body type that clothes just are not made for. I’m petite and busty. (Think Jessica Simpson’s body type, but even more… full figured in the upper area.) [more inside]

It seems like every time I find a pair of jeans I like, they stop selling them. Most recently, I found these
at Target, and they were perfect! Just the right length, bootcut, dark wash, with some stretch in the material so I can move (very important), and NO obnoxious glitter or weird stitching or fake whisker marks. Of course, they are not currently available. So, short mefites, where do you go to buy your jeans? I'm not willing to buy pants that I can't try on first, so the internet is out, but I'm in Phoenix, AZ so we have most of the stores. I work, so I'm hard on jeans and don't really want to spend more than $30 or $40 a pair. Oh, and I usually wear a 14P or so (the Target ones are "fit 4" designed for people with curves and that's perfect) so places that only have tiny people sizes are out. Please give me some suggestions so I'm not driving all over the place wasting my whole day trying on pants!
(I've seen previous questions, but what's available seems to change on a weekly basis...)

Can you recommend durable, somewhat fitted, not outrageously expensive work pants that will fit a small woman (5'0", 100 lbs, athletic build)? And by work I don't mean office-appropriate: I'm a carpenter and I spend my days at a grimy construction site. [more inside]

My best friend rides horses, and all of her jeans are boot-cut, dark wash, with high contrast stitching. I think they look amazing, and I know they would look amazing on me. Problem: Hobbit size. [more inside]

My daughter spilled permanent glue all over my last pair of jeans that fit -- they were from Lands' End and have long since been discontinued. Please help me find new jeans that fit! Here's what I am looking for:
(1) I wear a size 6 or 8. The jeans must come in petite or "short" length, as I have very short legs. I prefer straight leg to flare or boot-cut.
(2) I don't want high-waisted mommy jeans, but I also don't want the really low-slung ones all the kids are wearing (I'm 50). I have some Old Navy "Diva" jeans that fit OK, but I really don't like the low rise -- even with a belt, I feel as though they'll fall down, and some of my tops aren't long enough to cover the gap. Is there such a thing as "regular" rise anymore?
(3) I don't want ultra-skinny jeans, but I also don't want baggy.
(4) I don't want to spend a fortune. I realize that I might need to be spend $75, but even that sounds outrageous to me for "just jeans."
The closest I've come is a pair of J.Jill "authentic fit slim-leg" petite jeans, which are pretty good but have a bit more stretch in them than I'm used to. Any other ideas?

Looking for clothing lines/companies geared towards women ages 18-35 that cater to non-average sizes (including petite, tall, plus size, etc.) Particularly interested in smaller companies. Bonus points for stuff like sustainability, fair labor practices, natural fibers.

My breasts are disproportionately large for my frame (34E/F, 5'2", upper-normal BMI). Because of this, my posture is terrible and my style has been decidedly cramped. Short of getting a breast reduction, how can I dress better, improve my posture, and keep my back from hurting all the time? [more inside]
