Has anyone ever taken the "Inner Quest Intensive" 3-day course at Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, MA? I'm thinking about doing it and would like to hear what others' experiences were like. Specifically, what did you actually do during the time there -- how were the days structured, what kinds of practices did you experience?

I need a better domain name for personal and professional email, and perhaps as a landing page for people to find me on the internet. The problem is that I have an extremely generic name and all the usual suspects are taken. Please suggest or help me find something distinct and foolproof for email.

I'm a 24 year old law graduate. I am currently chambering with a law firm and doing a postgraduate degree in Islamic banking/financing. I have no debt. How do I make the best of my situation? Please advise me how I may plan and start my life properly, from the perspective of both personal finance and professional work. I would also appreciate being advised on how to invest, or save, or acquire assets. To sum it up: "If you could start off your life from my position, how would you do it, both professionally and financially?"

I just found out that I have a very serious disease. I may have only a couple of years left, probably no more than five. I have two very young kids. How do I archive stuff on the Web so I know they'll have access to it, whenever they want, for at least the next 40 years?

Personal Library Filter: Over the last couple of years, I've been helping an elderly couple with their massive book collection. After a lot of searching, I ended up finding BookCAT which seemed to be great. But these people really want to have lots of print-outs. (The husband does not use the computer at all.) BookCAT is way too complicated for even me in this regard. What else is there?

Dear Metafilter Community,
I live in a house full of roommates and I am trying to share my phone’s internet connection on our network so that everyone in the household may have an internet connection. Currently, I am capable of getting my phone to give my own computer internet access (via a Bluetooth Personal Area Netowork under ‘Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers’ in Windows 7), but I have not been able to share this internet connection using the Internet Connection Sharing feature.

I have a problem with a broken Christmas promise. My girlfriend and I agreed that since money was tight, we would
not buy gifts for each other. We would purchase gifts for family. Children, parents, siblings. But we would only buy for others. Not for
us.
Then my girlfriend bought me an iPod Touch.
While I certainly love the gift I feel that I should now buy
her something, even though she insists that I do not.
I'm thinking that since the agreement was broken (granted with love) I have the right to purchase her a gift. (With love)
But OTOH, would that be loving, or tit for tat?
Am I overthinking this? Is it a given that I get her a gift? Or should I just accept my gift and leave it alone, and in my mind maybe be missing some signal of some sort?
While money is tight, it isn't so bad that I couldn't get her
something. It doesn't have to be the same amount, but I'd feel like crap if I didn't get her a gift now. Help!

I use MS Money which is being discontinued by Microsoft. Can you recommend a replacement based on firsthand experience. The obvious is Intuit, but I'm finding mixed reviews on using it for personal finances. I basically want to track spending (downloading bank and credit card data), and to sort and analyze spending for income tax and budgeting purposes.
I don't really care about managing a portfolio with real time data through internet connectivity, nor do I need to make financial investment decisions.
Thanks!

A charity gave me $1,000 USD they raised for me after a drunk driver wiped me and my motorcycle out. I am 56 yrs. old, sick from cancer and will be losing my job in December. I have little savings and will have to work at whatever my body lets me do, and probably lose my health insurance. I plan on selling my home and its contents and downsizing to a studio apartment. I have no credit card debt but hold two mortgages, both will be a wash at the sale. What is the best bang for my buck for this $1000 in this economy? A CD? Online savings account? Any suggestions?

I am writing a fictional story about someone who lives in the slums of some small South American country. When he was ten, during a fever, an angel appeared to him and told him that he would become an FBI Agent. He may have seen a movie with FBI agents, so he has some sense of what that means. Step by step, what does he have to do to fulfill that prophecy in a real way?
