I'm trying to simplify my computer wiring situation, and could use some strategic advice. I have a bunch of devices, and 3 machines. How can 2 (or preferably all 3) machines share all the peripherals? My little KVM doesn't quite cut it. [more inside]

Computer Peripheral Filter: I am looking for a device (other than a plotter) which I can hook up to a computer which can then generate text that looks hand written. I know you can get handwriting TT fonts , but the documents produced do not really look hand written. Getting a plotter is a last resort. I'm pretty sure I have heard of a device that will do what I need, but I can't seem to google it. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Windows Slide Show Viewer in Dual Monitor Mode. I need to run a full-screen slideshow of some jpgs in a folder from a peripheral monitor, while doing other stuff on my laptop screen. Windows XP slideshow viewer (the one that comes up when viewing a folder with pictures in it) is perfect, but every time I try to run it from the monitor, the slideshow actually takes place on the LCD screen. How the hell do I get the show to run on the monitor?

I'm looking at keyboard/mouse/monitor switches with DVI & USB. I want to set one up with 1 PC and 1 PowerBook G4. Audio switching included would be nice. It's hard to beat the price tag on the Belkin SOHO ($200 including cables), but the series has gotten some tepid reviews. Everything else I've seen is closer to $400. Any suggestions?

Also - what keyboard would I use with such a device?
