I love my Jotter, but I'm looking for something similar in a fountain pen. My number 1 priority is slimness - I hate fat pens - but I would also like to avoid cheap-feeling plastic. What are my options for under $50? Should I stick with Parker? Is the Cross Classic worthy of my grasp? What's the best non-bulky fountain pen you've used?
Over the years, I've acquired a handful of very nice fountain pens, which I love to use. They are inspiring me to take a crack at improving my handwriting, which has never looked good or been particularly legible. I am left-handed, and I loathe Palmer script (cursive) with a fiery passion thanks to some awful shaming I received about my handwriting as a child. What are some good resources for a southpaw to improve his handwriting that don't involve the kind of cursive I was (not) taught as a child? Books, videos, websites are all welcome.
This pen was anonymously left on my desk at my job a few months ago, and I need more of this pen in my life. [more inside]
What good rollerball pens are out there that produce a good line and are NOT the now-sucky Pilot Precise V7? See extended explanation for more on what I'm looking for in a pen and why the Precise V7 now sucks. [more inside]
I have a Bamboo Splash Wacom Tablet CTL571 running on Mac OS 10.6.8. I lost my pen and bought another pen, the Bamboo LP170ES which supposedly works with Splash. I reinstalled everything but the pen does not work. Is this a simple case that I got an incompatible pen? I know it is not the one that originally came with the Splash but the research I did do said it was compatible. I evend downloaded the legacy driver from Wacom for Splash to be safe, though I installed everything first (including ArtRage and Sketchbook Pro). I am off to work now but will monitor any wise input and take a crack at this later. Any thoughts appreciated.
I have a smallish pocket notebook (3.5x6), and a Lamy Pico ballpoint pen. I'd like to devise a way to attach the pen to the notebook. Help? [more inside]
I have a Bamboo tablet from a few years ago that Wacom no longer makes. I lost the stylus. Perhaps my google-fu is failing me, but it seems that a stylus that will work this is very hard to find. And when I can find it, it's $30 - and for not much more I can just get a used version of a newer pen/tablet but I don't want to buy a new one yet. [more inside]
I recently got an old fountain pen marked in Chinese. Please help translate the pen. Links to photos and more information below the fold. [more inside]
Can you please give me advice, or share recommendations, about non-disposable, easy writing pens for a left-handed writer? Not ballpoint, and need free-flowing ink. I have tried various gel, ball-point, fountain, and dip pens, and I prefer a sustainable solution. [more inside]
What Android or Windows 8 pen-equipped tablet should I buy for reading scientific papers, writing scientific papers, and taking notes? (Or is the app selection for the iPad sufficiently amazing that I should let it override my distaste for Apple's walled garden and the iPad's lack of an active digitizer stylus?) [more inside]
I'm looking for a refillable ink pen that I can use for years to come. [more inside]
So I LOVE my Hello Kitty pens. They are super fine and .38mm, I know that there has to be somewhere online where I can buy refills- I have gone to morningglory, and jetpens. No luck. thanks. I hate to keep buying new pens when I can get ink refills.

Where can I buy pens in Sydney, and/or who has a wide variety of pens (gel pens, paint pens, that sort of thing)? I am working on my sister's wedding invitations and am rather pressed for time... I want to buy a fountain pen. A fountain pen that writes really smoothly. [more inside]
I just opened the dryer to find that my sheets (really nice, formerly tan/beige) are covered in blue pen marks. I also can see pen marks all over the dryer. I found the pen (it apparently was smuggled in by my cats, who necessitated the whole problem by throwing up on my duvet) tucked into a corner of the duvet. [more inside]
Wondering if anyone else who uses the Wacom Intuos5 drawing tablet knows how to deal with this problem. My Intuos3, which I loved, had a big dead space in the middle of the drawing pad because I used a cleaner on it that messed it up. Two new versions had been released since I bought it, so I figured it was time to get the latest and greatest. [more inside]
Where can I find a ballpoint pen refill to replace this one? I can find short refills, and twist refills, but not short twist refills. [more inside]
Looking for a sustainable pocket pen solution (for a girl)!-- I need suggests/recommendations/ideas for a pocket pen that is thin in diameter and short. It needs to either be extremely cheap and easily replaceable, or easily refillable (fountain pen ink, pencil lead, or non-proprietary refills). I would ideally like to carry this in my pants pocket, and will probably carry it all the time. I can't spend more than 20 dollars on this, and really, less than 10 is even better. [more inside]

I've long wowed friends by pulling my amazing FoldzFlat pen out of my wallet. But it just ran out of ink. Now that the cheap plastic ones have been discontinued, I don't want to pony up $25 for a metal one that's not even refillable. Is there an alternative? [more inside]

Looking for a discreet audio recording device (not one of the typical voice memo recording sticks you get at radio shack, this must be discreet). I am a public speaker at my company and I typically speak at multiple meetings per day, with no time to take notes for follow-up questions. I need a stand-alone audio recorder that is discreet (wrist watch, pen, etc.) and that can handle at least 8 hours of recording on 1 charge / 1 set of batteries. [more inside]
In Adobe Illustrator, is there a way to make the pen tool default to corner points rather than curve points? It's a PITA if you're drawing something jagged (like a map border) and you have to click on every point that you set to make it a corner point.
