I'm looking for a "flipping page" online catalog viewer for print catalogs. Hoping to find something that will work for iPad, iPhone and Android. Ideally I'd like something self-hosted, but that is not a deal breaker. The ability to add image map-like links to URLs is needed. The source file is a PDF built in InDesign.

I'm in the UK, and will be giving a pre-recorded video conference presentation remotely next month in the US. What is the deliverable I should be aiming for (YouTube link, QuickTime video, PDF with MP3, something else?) and what is the easiest, most hassle-free way of creating and delivering it? I've got a PDF (a magazine). I'm trying export some pages from this PDF (my article), as a separate PDF. I'm on a Mac (10.6.7). This seems like it should be easy, but I can't print my selected pages to PDF (it's grayed out in the "Save to PDF" drop-down), nor can I find any options to save-selected-pages-as or export-to. My searches have only turned up now-obsolete, non-functioning programs like PDFlab and PDFsam. What am I missing? Should I just print out the pages and scan them back in?

I work in a school and have made a number of resources of my own for my classes and my department. I would like to upload these to the school's website but I wanted to have them as PDF files where the content was not copyable.
I am currently running Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and Adobe Reader X. I also have the Serif X3 Applications package installed on my machine.
Is what I want achievable with the software I currently have or should I forget the idea?

What is the best electronic device to view a PDF outside of a computer? I have a crapload of PDFs and am tired of reading them on my laptop. I'm thinking of getting an ebook reader or maybe a tablet? Are any ebook readers good at PDFs? Most of the PDFs are mostly text. But some have some maps and tables and what not.

I need a PDF form. Employees will go into the field with this form loaded onto a tablet PC and fill out the form for constituents who will then sign it with their actual signature. The form itself is trivial, but how can we do the signature? [more inside]

iWork question: When exporting my document to PDF in Pages '09, the resulting text quality is really poor for the regions that are set in 8pt Helvetica Neue. If I do a Print->Save as Postscript, then open that in Finder and save as PDF, the quality is fine. Is there any way to get Pages to just do this properly? [more inside]

I want to read pdfs on my iphone, but unless the pdf was created with larger than normal text, it's generally too small to read. They don't use the available space efficiently and there is often large margins that could have been used to enlarge the font. Here
are some shots
of what I'm talking about. I've read that epub is the format I am looking for but haven't been able to find my pdfs as epubs (the books I get are mostly textbooks or from small authors that sell their books on their own sites (like Smashing Magazine), not through e\retailers who may have multiple formats), and converting via online services or desktop apps like Calibre have not been successful, especially for large documents... I've commissioned someone to create a rendered "artist's impression" of a planned housing development, but he priced it under the assumption that the architect would release Autocad files of the project. It turns out that the architect will only supply PDFs of the building plans. How can I find someone to turn these plans into something my artist can use, and how much should I expect to pay? All I need is the outside of the building, including the grounds and property fence.
