I got myself a
Lenovo tablet on super sale for Christmas. I'm interested in using it to read and annotate pdf files (mainly journal articles). The pdf reader app I'm using has the ability for freehand writing, and I'd like to try that out for margin notes (some of the papers are technical with lots of symbols, so writing is easier than typing). I bought
a stylus that had pretty good reviews on Amazon, but I have to push down to make it work which is ok for highlighting, but tiring for writing. Is this a limitation of this tablet's screen? Or is there a stylus that is easier to use?

I know this is well trodden ground, but I have a question about tablets. I want a tablet that will mainly be for reading/annotating pdfs (academic papers). My main worries are eye strain and stylus integration. What's my best bet?

So, I got myself an Android tablet, specifically for DnD nerdery. Now I've got some specific desires for pdf and spreadsheet programs - but am having a hell of a time tracking down apps that can what I want. Are these things really that hard to do in Jelly Bean?

Best tablet or e-reader for reading PDFs? Difficulty: must be lightweight, with a smaller screen than an iPad, and preferably less than $250.

Please recommend a device (or devices) for two activities: reading and drawing. And by reading, I don't just mean plain English text. I also have some special demands regarding drawing.

Can Ipad (or any other tablet) be used to browse and view a folder of documents (mostly PDF/Office) on a shared drive over Wifi without actually downloading the file to the device?

What's the best device for reading and annotating PDFs? I'm trying to decide between a tablet pc (maybe the Lenovo X220T), a netbook fitted with a PixelQi screen, an Entourage Edge, an OLPC, or some sort of e-reader. Any other suggestions, are of course, welcome.
