I'm trying to help out my brother in law automate one of his daily work tasks. It involves going to several authenticated intranet sites, saving the data and then converting it to PDF and saving it to a directory.
I'm wondering what the best way to go about this is.

Can you help me with this HTML print-sizing problem? I have a 3x5 index card created in Word. When I convert it to PDF, it prints out full size, as in Word. But when I convert to HTML, either from Word or from the PDF, and then print the HTML page, it scales down. Is there a way to make it print full-size in HTML?

I need to capture data from an HTML form into a database, then use that data to populate a template. The template, however, is of a certificate of accomplishment, and must be in the form of a printable PDF.
What's a good software/middleware/whateverware package to automatically take the data and inject it into a PDF like this?

How to fully protect an Adobe pdf? I want to post an exam temporarily on the net for my class, and I'm using Adobe Pro 7.0's security functions to disable editing and printing functions (so students can't easily print and circulate the exam). The doc can still be saved, however. Adobe forums seem to have no idea how to disable the SAVE pdf function....

I have 12 issues of an image intensive 'zine in PDF. I've slowly been converting them to XHTML by hand. I'm halfway through the 5th issue and I'm sick of it. Is there any easy, or less difficult, way to convert these?
