Adobe Acrobat Filter: Acrobat help, hacking PDFs

I am regular user of Adobe Acrobat Pro (Version 9, currently), for document manipulation purposes. I am certainly not expert at it, but I'm not entirely stupid. I sometimes run into forms (the ones I work with are typically from various state and federal government agencies) where the helpful persons setting up those forms either accidentally or set up with programming/permissions that don't allow me be able to manipulate the forms. These are not high level sensitive documents, or anything, and all I am trying to do is to be able to add/edit/delete various form fields in order to fill out the forms properly. Here is a link to the current form that has me stymied - it is the S-Corporation election form from the IRS (form 2553): http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f2553.pdf [more inside]

Please enter your address for the 80th time.

I've an idea to take a group of industry standard PDF forms & build a website that allows you to enter your information once to populate all of the forms. The problem: how do I do that? [more inside]

PDF forms with a twist

Is it possible to create a fillable PDF form that includes logic? Assume there is a sum calculation with total of $1000.00 If check box = selected, tax=12%, else if check box off, tax =0. If check box is selected, the tax field will show $120.00 and the grand total below it (sum of total + tax) will be $1120.00 If check box is not selected, grand total will be $1000.00 What is needed to do the above? Javascript? Any example will be welcome! BB

PDF Forms help needed

Our company needs forms in Word and Excel formats. Some forms contain math functions i.e. expense report forms. Is there a service to convert these forms in to PDF "filable" forms. We can buy Adobe Acrobat Professional, and but we need someone to convert about 50-100 forms for us as we do not have the time.

Help! I'm wasting half my day filling out the same forms over and over...

I fill out a lot of the same postal form, just with small amounts of different information in it. This form needs to be printed out a couple dozen times a day. Is it possible to dreates a PDF in Acrobat or Indesign that has a user-fillable text box that will show up when printed? I'm currently just editing and printing a Word doc, which is less than ideal.
