Quitting my job, should I tell my boss the real reason why?

Freelancer here. I've been doing design/tech/maintenance work for this one guy's website for a little under a year. It's part-time and pays well...when he pays. He has a habit of being late on payments and unreachable...I've resolved to quit. Should I tell him the real reason why? [more inside]

Invoices and payment processor for low-transaction contractor?

My new boss apparently prefers to use more convenient and/or flexible methods to pay me, an independent contractor (web dev). He suggested I invoice him through PayPal the first time he paid me. I have a general dislike of PayPal, and I like automation, so I'm trying to decide on a payment processor or other method of billing that can take the same money sources as PayPal. [more inside]

Hello! I am looking for a provider that will allow me to a) Host tutorial videos b) Sell streaming videos to customers. Think of websites like lynda.com - but on a much smaller scale. I've found one provider viddler.com - no luck yet finding others. Mayhaps the hive mind has an idea? Thanks!

Can I set up a payment distribution service without a license?

YANML-filter: Some colleagues and I are thinking of starting a service that distributes incoming payments amongst multiple recipients. So imagine something like Flattr, but instead of splitting a monthly budget between several people, you pay several people at once with a one-off payment. My question is: What do we need to do to avoid needing a Financial Services License? The answer might be 'nothing' but I'd rather not pay $$$$ to find that out, at least while other options are on the table. [more inside]

Does This Technology Exist?

It's fund drive time, and I have been a contributor and a host promoting fund drives for public and community radio. Renewing My Russian Domain Name

I have a russian (.ru) domain name I registered through nic.ru. Since the last time I paid they changed their payment processor and none of my credit cards work with the new one.
