Getting XP to play nice on a Mac network

I'd like both computers in the house (one Mac, one XP) to share my WiFi network. This works great as long as the network is open, but I'd like it to be closed. [more inside]

peek at password fields in XP

I've forgotten an sFTP password and need to recover it. The account is setup and working in EditPlus. Many years ago I remember using a Windows utility that allowed you to drag an icon over any ******* password field and the password would be revealed. I can't remember the name of this utility. Google reveals many other utilities that might do the same thing, but I ph33r the Russian Hax0rs. Does anyone know of a crap-ware free program that can help me? Operating System XP Home.

Recommend a good program to password protect a flash drive?

Can anyone recommend a good program to password protect a flash drive? I see all sorts with encryption and folder hiding, etc., but all I really want is for a password input box to pop up when I plug in the USB drive, denying access to the files until it is entered. Needs to work on XP/98/2000 so that I can easily move between machines. Also, cheap is good. This shouldn't be as difficult to find as it seems to be!

Windows XP - need password

Win XP pword issue. I'm locked out of my laptop. I don't use it often, and the password expired - it was set to 30 days. Being an idiot, I didn't make written note of the admin password anywhere. Multiple guesses have so far yielded me nothing. I found this site but haven't tried it yet, since I have no access to the Win 2000 cd.

Anyone know how to get in w/o losing all my data and reformatting/re-imaging the thing?
