Staying at Red Lion Hotel downtown Seattle but don't want to pay outrageous hotel parking fee ($30 a night!). Does anyone know somewhere else within a reasonable distance where I can park for cheap? I've got strong legs and some patience.

I'm driving from Vancouver to Seattle this weekend to see the Seahawks play the Jets at Qwest Field. Where is the best place to park looking for a balance of economy and convenience? Plus is there anything that is do not miss with the stadium food vendors?

So I've decided to take another roadtrip to Seattle from my lovely burg of Vancouver. I got a great deal for a fancy room at the Sheraton downtown (yay!) but those people want me to pay $28 a day for self parking (boo!). Is there a nearby alternative? [more inside]
