Where can I get a giant electrical throw switch?
I've been tasked with finding & buying a gigantic ( ideally 1-2 foot long ) lever. It will go up on the wall of our web development office and it will be labeled "Interwebs: on/off". Where can I find some kind of switch that is worthy of turning the internet on or off?
That's the immediate problem, but let me give you the background - I'd love other ideas too:

I just bought a house (yay!) and I need some schoolin' by educated mefites about the relative importance of various electrical upgrades my inspector recommended. If you're an electrician, a handyman with electrical expertise, or just a homeowner that's been through this, I'd love some thoughts on what is worth spending $$$ to upgrade now, versus not that important.

I'm shopping for an HDTV, and might have lucked into an excellent deal on a Panasonic TH-50PF30U "digital signage display". Help me understand the difference between a consumer plasma HDTV and a
digital signage plasma HDTV, because this is the first time I've heard of the latter.

Wordpress.org Links Widget Problem: This seems like it should be relatively easy, but I can't figure it out – Is there a way I can change the titles of the Wordpress Links Widgets (Blogroll)
as seen in the admin panel? I'm using many instances of the the links widget for different groups of links (trust me that there's a good reason for this), and currently what I see in my sidebar section in the Widgets area of the admin panel is a column of LINKS, LINKS, LINKS, LINKS, etc., when what I want to see is LINKS Topic A, LINKS Topic B, LINKS Topic C, etc.

Looking for pointers for leading a great panel discussion or roundtable interview, in front of an audience. Tell me something that made an event you attended really memorable (in a good way), and/or give me some examples of what not to do. Thanks!

We are a small company with 3 subdivisions, each with their own sub-domain:
Main Website:
www.widgets.com
Sub Domain 1: things.widgets.com
Sub Domain 2: stuff.widgets.com
Sub Domain 3: morestuff.widgets.com
Right now we can login to our webhost's control panel & admin our website. We are wondering if there's a web host out there that would give us a separate control panel for each subdomain so that the head of each division can admin his own subdomain?

I have a mini solar-panel (it's about 2sf) and claims to good for about 75w. In full sunlight it outputs about 19v. Of course when the light fades, the output voltage drops. There doesn't seem to be any 'electronics' built in - it just the silicon panels and output wires (with a female car charger socket soldered on actually). I want to use it to charge a mobile phone and laptop. But ... what seems to happen (with the laptop) is that is actually drains the battery somehow.
