Any insights about car accident related pain? Disclaimer: (I am NOT getting serious medical advice online) It always seems like someone scolds me for that. I was in a car accident 2 weeks ago. We were going 40 and hit someone who pulled out in front of us. I went to the hospital to get checked out and they did xrays and whatnot and diagnosed me with "Severe Chest Trauma". I felt better progressively for the next few days, but then my chest (and lower back) started hurting slightly more each day up till now which is 2 weeks later.

I fractured my right index finger about 9 months ago when a table-saw kicked a small square of plywood at high velocity into the end of the 'metacarpal' near the first joint. I taped it up and after about six weeks it felt basically normal. It is straight and I have full mobility however, with the coming of spring, it has started to ache, sometimes distractlingly so... so what's going on?

For the past 3 years, off and on, I've had pain in the left shoulder blade area, radiating toward my left rib cage. There are no triggers like breathing or laughter. What I feel is sharp stabbing spasms at unpredictable intervals. It is mild in the morning, intense by evening. Usually icing takes care of it, but not always. I've seen my doctor, gotten massages, gotten acupuncture, tried exercise and stretching -- but the pain returns. Massage helps most. Any ideas, hive mind?

I just threw my lower back out picking up my baby. Lots of pain in the lower back generally. Didn't hear a pop...it just seemed like my muscles seized up suddenly. This has never happened to me before, and need information on what I need to be doing.

What's wrong with my feet or what can I do to make them work?
My feet ache when I do any bouncing movements.
I started taking kick boxing classes and when we do jumping jacks or jump rope or when we do any sort of extended bouncing (which is pretty much most of the class) I get an aching, burning feeling in the middle of both my feet.

My best friend was just diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. She initially responded to Tegretol but it was causing massive mood changes and suicidal ideations at its effective dose. Her doctor is working on figuring out what to try next. I'm 1000 miles away and can't get to her. She's single, lives alone, and is being driven crazy by the pain.
