I my memory, there was the basic PacMan computer game (not in arcades but on the PC at home) which at some point had a second level - same game idea but the design on the screen was a sunny, sandy island in the middle of the ocean, with treasure chests, palm trees, and maybe even pirates. I remember this fondly and (too) often and wish I could find it again. Does anybody know where to purchase this game or perhaps find it online? Details within. [more inside]
For a charity auction, my family "donated" a Ms. Pac-Man party for 16 people. The winners are 8 couples in their mid- to late 30s who each paid a decent bit of money to come to our house and be entertained for a night. We have an old-school Ms. Pac-Man cocktail table and a tournament will be the centerpiece, but I want to put on a great party and give these good people their money's worth. What great ideas - whether general grown-up party ideas or specific Ms. Pac-Man ones - will make that happen? My budget is not unlimited but assume it is large. [more inside]
Looking for animated GIFs of sprites from Pac-Man! Hoping for all four ghosts (looking sideways is okay), a blue "oh no" ghost, Pac-Man, and big Pac-Man from the cutscene. Failing that, anyone able to point me toward an easy way to put together animated GIFs in Mac OS?
My nephews (6 and 8) love old arcade games and I am looking for a Plug and Play game for their Christmas gift. Any games from Pacman to Sonic would be fine. What are the best options? Also are there any two player plug and play games in the market which are worth buying?
Where did the Pac-Man term "Cruise Elroy" come from? [more inside]
