I was transferring a lot of mp3 folders from my laptop (MacBook Pro) to an external hard drive (160 GB iomega) and overwrote some of the folders, losing a lot of mp3s in the process. Help! [more inside]

Most PC mistakes are undoable -- I can undelete deleted files pretty reliably, and many applications have some kind of undo function. The one thing it seems I can't undo is accidentally saving one file on top of another. [more inside]
