I have .PST files created via Outlook (Win) 2003 that I need to look into. However, I have Outlook (Win) 2000 on this computer, and it can't read a newer version (thanks, Redmond). Is there some other way to open these?

On some days, my Outlook calendar has blue and white diagonal lines on the sides of the day. Why is this? I know these lines mean "tenative," but I only really know one way to set appointments. Why do some days have these and others do not. [more inside]
