Help me find that lovin' feeling!

I'm not sure if this is an actual lingerie outfit or not, but I'd like to buy it (or something really close) for my wife. I challenge you to find an online source! The shirt, skirt, stockings . . . everything. I've looked through several search engines but so far haven't been able to find anything close to it. Particularly, I can't seem to find a skirt that short that has that fluffy stuff under it.

Your help will be greatly appreciated!

What to wear?

Unexpected invitations to a Broadway show and dinner at a fancy NYC restaurant. Our houseguest didn't bring appropriate clothes, but we can order from most catalogs via Fed Ex to receive in time for next week.
She's a 12 or 14, prefers pants to skirts and has no clue what to order that would be stylish yet usable back home in real. less dressy life.
Willing to splurge as long as it's not a one shot outfit.
What would be a good place to look? Specific outfit recommendations more than welcome.

Bear Ambition

I would like to wear a bear costume for Halloween, but the only storebought options I have found on eBay and elsewhere online haven't quite matched what I'm looking for.

This is basically what I'm after, as a reference. Or possibly even this one or this one.

If anyone out there knows where to find something similar that would fit a 5'9" 130 lb person, I would be thankful (bonus points if I can buy it in the Vancouver, BC area)

Full disclosure: I plan on drinking beer from a growler with 'Honey' written on it.

What to wear to a swing themed party?

I need reference for an outfit for a Swing themed party. My friend is having a party with a swing band playing and we're expected to look the part. They have given the 20s and Prohibition era as reference but another friend has suggested it is more 30s/40s - and to be honest I don't have a clue. Any suggestions for what me and my girlfriend should wear?

Also, definitely swing dancing and definitely not swinging.

Seeking details about black sixties soul suits.

What kind of (black) suits, shirts, ties, shoes did sixties soul musicians wear on stage? I'm a musician, playing in a classic style soul/funk outfit. We are looking at outfits to wear during gigs. We are inspired by the outfits of the classic soul bands. The kind of suits worn in Pulp Fiction by John Travolta / Samuel Jackson, the suits that were worn on stage by the (Motown) Funk Brothers and the suits that are worn by the Dap-Kings etc.

Does anyone know what kind of suits soul / funk musicians used to wear back in the days? Normally they appear to be single breasted three button black suits with small black ties and black shoes. Any particular brands, styles, details we should be looking at?

Thanks!

Balls out

For Halloween this year, my costume (similar to this one) is a giant, inflatable, flesh-colored penis. Can I get in any trouble with the law for wearing it out in public? And does it make a difference whether that day is Halloween or not?

I need to dress for success, but in the office not at the bar

Can you help me get dressed? First off, I am sorry for another one of these questions. I usually dress myself fine, but my new office is a little more formal and well, I got a little talking to.

We dress buiness casual for the most part, however, my job puts me in the public eye occasionally. I have a bigger chest and more importantly they sit relatively high on my chest so many v-neck or scoop tops look a bit more revealing on me than other people. In addition I have an ass, so sue me. That means I have to wear skirts that brush my knees at least, or once again, I look a little young and immodest. Oh yeah, and I have tatoos, so I have to wear either a longer short sleeve or a 3/4 sleeve top at all time.

So this is hard because I am pretty hip and fun and have never thought much of showing a little leg. I literally wear the same thing to the office as I wear to the bar. I almost always wear a knit top and a kneelength a-line skirt, I mean 7 days a week. I am 5'8 and wear a 10/12, but hoping to be an 8/10 soon enough.

I love dresses and skirts and "girly" details like lace and bows, a genteel victorian look is pretty much up my ally, but as long as my boss doesn't think my boobs are hanging out, pretty much anything would be ok.

I am looking for a place where I could get maybe 3 dresses, 3 skirts, some pretty sweater tops, some cardigans, and then layering tops and be done with the whole thing. ( I don't wear pants, but I am willing to try them).

What is this costume from?

What is that Chinese big-sleeves/baggy-pants costume/outfit/character archetype called? Examples are Hsien-Ko from Capcom's Darkstalkers games, and Mousse from the Ranma series. Where does that outfit come from, and why does it seem to be associated with martial artists who pull blades out of apparently nowhere? Is there a real historical group of people who do/did this?
