Who took this photo?

I'd love to see more work by this photographer. I've tried what I think are likely google searches and have found nothing - maybe I'm using the wrong search terms, but if anyone knows or has suggestions, I'd be grateful! Photo here.

Where do you find the best online deals for all-things-electronic?

From a previous AskMefi post dated 2006, I've re-discovered Newegg, Slick Deals, Hot Deals, Woot, Tech Bargains, and Spendfish. It's been almost 8 years since the post, though, so I'm sure I'm out of the loop. Google is great for aggregating these sites, but I'm not sure about their quality (i.e. deal-awesomeness) from a simple search. Can you tell me what I'm missing? Thanks in advance!!

Help me get my dog outside

We adopted Willa on Sunday afternoon. She is a sweet, placid 3-year-old retired racing greyhound. She seemed to settle in okay on Sunday, but since Monday morning she has been very fearful and anxious. The most problematic manifestation of this is steadfast refusal to leave the house -- she freezes up and has to be carried/dragged over the threshold to go outside to do her business. [more inside]

Origin of Hotta-San hunting knife at Best Made?

I've been looking at this knife at Best Made for a while, and I can't seem to find its provenance. Many other products at Best Made are rebranded or what have you versions from known suppliers, but I cannot for the life of me find a knife that resembles the Hotta-san — after looking at hundreds online. Everything I find refers back to Best Made's info. Can anyone unravel this mystery? [more inside]

Taking a clear photo from far away.

I would like to make a poster of the cliffs at Lion's Head, ON; however, in order to get a shot of the entire cliff without too much distortion, I would ideally be located on the other side of Isthmus Bay, about 4 km away from the cliff. How can I do this? [more inside]
