iChat has an annoying tendency to periodically disconnect itself from AIM and Jabber, bouncing in the dock to alert me. Reconnecting is always simple, but it's annoying. Anyone else have this problem, and ever find a solution? [more inside]

What is the physically smallest laptop capable of running OS X? I'm only interested in word processing and light web browsing, so I have no prejudice against old models -- in fact, I'd prefer an older model if it's cheaper. [more inside]
