Is there an online DSM-I?

Where can i find a list and description of the disorders in the original Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-I)? Google-fu has failed me. Is there a list out there online for free, so i don't have to pony up and buy the book? I'm very interested in the crazy things they considered "mental illness" back then. I don't need to view the actual pages or anything, just a list/summary or each illness would be perfect. Thanks!

ps. have tried looking for torrents. no luck.

Papers, please.

For purposes of "going paperless", when is an electronic, scanned copy of a document NOT enough? In other words, in what situations will a paper original of a document be required? I am working with a company that is trying to "go paperless" and some people are, understandably, nervous that the scanned copies of documents won't be enough. We know about things like needing to keep the originals of documents where the document itself is the "thing" (i.e., negotiable instruments, deeds). We know about a "gotcha" in 29 CFR 1910.1020 (which requires original chest x-ray films to be preserved).

Help me anticipate the parade of horribles, Hive Mind -- tell me your experiences when the original paper document had to be / should have been presented.

What is the most fitting, original petname for my lover?

I am in love with a romantic. Help! There has been one askme that I have found, but none of the suggestions help. I need to come up with a pet name for my lover. I am his babydoll. Every time he writes that to me or calls me that, I melt. I want to do the same for him. The only thing I have been able to come up with is daddy seahorse or iceberg. They just don't sit well with me.

A couple of things you should know about him:
He is one of the smartest, well-read individuals I have ever met.
He loves the dadaists.
He is a writer, a musician, and a coffee roaster.
He is just fine, fine, fine.

Nothing I think of sits well with me. I want to impress him. I want it to be original.

Can anyone help?

Xbox original doesn't like DVDs

My Xbox original shuts itself off. When I try to watch a DVD on my Xbox original it shuts its self down seconds to minutes after the DVD starts (might do the same with games I just haven't tried). It doesn't have anything to do with the DVDs themselves because I've tried several. Anyone have a clue? Better yet, anyone know how to fix it?

Outlook 2003 Wont "include original message text" in my email replys?

Why won't Outlook 2003 "include original message text" in my email replys? At work I have outlook setup in the standard manor of when replying to an email it "include original message text"

Thus keeping a message thread so everyone knows whats been said.

This works fine on 99% of my contacts.. however 1 or 2 for some reason when you try to reply, the actual message thread is automaticly deleted leaving just their message header (to and from etc) and their footer. Ive looked at the email and theres no hidden HTML code or anything, it seems to be some kind of default Outlook setting.

If I access my emails via our online webbased service and try replying to the same messages then the message thread is not deleted.

does anyone know what could cause this?

Mp3 plagiarism How to tell?

Given an mp3 file by student. He says he wrote the music. I doubt it. Can I look inside and find if the details have been edited? I have been given an mp3 file by one of my students. He says he composed the piece and has had an orchestra record it. I doubt the story. If I right-click properties it all seems to be OK. Is there a way to dig into the mp3 and find when it was really created?

Canvas Prints

My wife wants to start a business making art for kids. She plans to make an original painting and then customize a canvas print with a kid's name. Any suggestions on an inexpensive way to get canvas prints? Any way to order such a service wholesale?

How can I be more original?

How can I be more creative and original? How can I be more creative and original? I write fiction, SF and fantasy, but I have trouble thinking of anything truly original. My mind seems to want to stick to the same old traditional stories and settings. And when I really try to come up with something original, invariably someone will still come along and say "Oh, that's just like (some story I've never heard of before)". Even my wildest ideas seem to have been done before. I can't read every single story in the entire world to make sure I'm not duplicating someone, but I hate the thought that people will think I am stealing from other authors just because we have similar ideas. How can I train my brain to come up with new, unique, never-seen-before ideas?
