As a gift, I'd like to be able to order Californian wine from a Napa or Santa Barbara winery (or anywhere) and have it mailed to a family member in the United Kingdom. (I live in Los Angeles) [more inside]

We have a "special" every week, a dinner that includes a dessert. Sometimes a particular customer will say "I don't want the dessert" and sometimes he/she won't... [more inside]

Any recommendations on places to order award-type items from? Kind of like trophies but not that cheesy . . . thinking specifically about having something made out of lucite, nothing fancy, but needs to look professional. [more inside]

My company (75 people) orders lunch from the same place every day. The receptionist sends out an email to everyone in the morning, and people respond with what they want for lunch. She then takes all of these food requests and calls them in to the sandwich shop. At the end of the day, she then has to tally up how much everyone spent. It then comes off of your paycheck.
How can we make this easier? It takes a considerable amount of the receptionists time! [more inside]

I wanted to buy something online (tea), but I found the price to be prohibitively expensive unless ordering in bulk. I couldn't use the bulk amount msyelf though, nor afford the full bulk cost. Is there a place online where people can meet and pool money to order bulk items and just split them up when they arrive?

For obvious reasons, I want this. The problem is that I don't read Japanese. I've tried Google, but searching "eyeball webcam" doesn't really narrow down results.
Is there a caring, Japan residing MeFite that can help me accomplish this goal?
